Minneapolis based improvisers Jon Davis and Matthew Himes joined forces for this one-off live electronics collaboration, offering a gurgling journey of fried circuit-drone meditation, blown capacitors and oversaturated tone-load beauty.

"Agrippa" is the warm, warbly document of this tantric session, captured to micro-cassette recorder 03/28/10 at the now extinct Bedlam Theatre in Minneapolis MN. Crumbling frequencies to deep fry brains, ideal for sitz bath or homebound head soak.

These sounds have been rescued from the vault as part of our ongoing series of obscure excavations from the early days of the label catalog. The recording has been remastered for ultimate "HYPNO-MURK" tone, and finally made available here for the dark digital age.


Originally released in late 2010 as LightenUpSound-020. Screen-printed Crimson on silver discs came packaged in sewn gatefold "Ash Black" art paper sleeves with wood grain tissue inner lining, produced in a hand numbered limited edition of 30 copies. Features screen printed ancient astrological seals originally drawn by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa.
